Clopidogrel ....Resistance

I am just reading a prerelease article.

In a study of 2208 patients with acute myocardial infarction who were treated with clopidogrel, we evaluated the relationship between genetic determinants of the response to clopidogrel and subsequent cardiovascular events. Genetic variants in CYP2C19 that result in loss of function were associated with an increase in the risk of death, myocardial infarction, or stroke, especially among patients undergoing PCI.
